So I'm finally working on sequence 2 for the muscle work Days 11-20. OMG!!!!! Has Tracy lost her mind. I must say its really kicking my butt. However I'm still hanging in there. I'm unable to get the full muscle work in so I've been alternating the days. I'm not sure what results I'm going to get but I'm going to keep at it.Earlier in the week I went to Sports Authority to pick up some new sneakers. My shins have been killing me. I bought Air max 2010"s. They were a whopping $160 but so HOT!!!!!! I was so undecided about what sneakers to get. I was in the store for over 2 hrs. I think I tried on over 10 pairs of sneakers that evening. The sales guy was nice but I'm not sure he was that knowledgeable. While I was in the store I text my friend who is into fitness and running and she suggested I go to this store called Big Peach Running Co. This company test how you run and can determine what sneaker is best for your feet. I was having a fight in my head and was trying to justify spending $160. I'm the type of person that wants what I want now. Also a person on TAM's page also suggested I wait for the Air max 2011's to come out. I just couldn't wait so I ended up buying them. EEEeekkkkk!!!!!!! Of course the next day I started to feel shoppers regret. I just could not justify spending almost $200 on sneakers. That's someone's car note, or grocery bill, or car insurance. So I decided to try the Big Peach Running Co and I was very impressed. They put me on a treadmill with a big screen TV and recorded the way I ran. She showed me a couple of videos first to show me what neutral, over pronate, under pronate runners looked like. I was so amazed. I had no idea people land on their feet differently. So guess what guys? I'm over pronate and basically that's why my shins have been hurting. Over pronate runners are prone to more injuries especially wearing the wrong shoe. So I ordered a pair of Brooks GTS 11's in red and I'm reluctantly returning the Airmax 2010's. So sad too bad right????? I really like the way the Airmax look but if the GTS's are going to make my legs and feet feel better than that's what I have to do. Here is a example of what my feet look like when I run. Oh and guess what? I signed up for a 5k on March 26. So after I'm finished with TAM I will be training for that. I'm so excited! My friend is going to train me on the weekends and I'm going to train by myself during the week. I figured this will force me to continue with my workouts after I finish with TAM. I came to realization that it might really take me a full year to get really fit. Whamp! Whamp! Whamp!!!!!
Oh and how can I forget about what everyone has been ravening about. Metamorphosis!!!!! I'm excited about the system but not about how the price increased. I have to see how well I do with the rest of the BC with TAM and maybe revisit the other DVD's I have of hers to see if its something that I can stick with. Who has purchased the new DVDs and are they worth it?
Well guys in the meantime......... Sequence 2 bring it on!
